At Hope, The Wild Burro Place, the donkeys are our family. No matter how long it takes, we will make sure these precious burros are gentled and ready for their forever homes!

How can you help? 

 Hope, The Wild Burro Place, is a place for rescuing, training, and finding forever homes for burros in need. Without this training, many of these burros spend the rest of their lives in holding facilities. As a trainer: feed, care, vet bills, halters, lead ropes, fly masks, fly sprays, grain, minerals and vitamins, farrier service, fuel for transportation, etc. are all out-of-pocket expenses. Through the Mustang Heritage Foundation, trainers receive a set stipend for their training time, no matter how long it takes. We do this because we love these creatures & genuinely care. These burros stay with us until they are fully ready for adoption. Once adopters are found, we spend time with the adopters, showing them how to communicate properly with their new burro, and make sure they are set up for success after leaving. We always ask adopters to stay in touch after leaving. These burros become like family to us and it matters that they are in the right homes. We go above and beyond! We would love for you to help spread the word on finding people who will provide loving and caring homes for these animals!
